I hit the jackpot when you decided to become my #1 supporter and advocate in Grade 2. We spent 7 good years together getting in and out of trouble. Mom thinks she can write a book about our escapades from the years of hilarious journal entries in the communication books. Don't worry, I will never tell who the vandals of Juniper Rd were, your secret is safe with me. I started out as a little punk who wasn't up to your shoulder and each fall you'd be surprised by how much I'd grown. Eventually you looked "up" to me but I knew who was boss! You will forever be "The Boss" to me. You had a way of whipping me into shape and making me behave as I should (most of the time) and I loved you for it.

I'm sorry that I didn't come to see you last summer, mom was going to take me on her next visit. I hope you enjoyed the photo album of our fun times together. I'm sorry that I made you work so hard getting me out of the boat at the cabin. I really can be a little sh*t. I'll miss coming out to the cabin and eating you out of house and home. Just an observation, I think you might have gotten softer with time because you did kind of wait on me at the cabin, just sayin'

    Good bye Boss,

I was very sad to hear of the passing of Gayle. My heart goes out to the family at this time. My sister Sheila is married to Gayle's son. Steve and Gayle has been a second mother to her for a lot of years. She will be missed.
