1934 - 2017

Mary was born in Vancouver BC, November 15, 1934 and passed away August 24, 2017 in Enderby, BC at the age of 82.

Mary married Raymond Pasemko in 1957 and over the next sixty years they raised a family and had many wonderful adventures. Part of these included living in different places throughout BC, however Enderby was always home and in 1976 they returned and stayed.

Mary was passionate, outgoing and fun. She lived her life to the upmost and truly loved to sing, paint, garden, travel and meet people. Mary was a long-time member of the St. Ann’s Catholic Church Choir, Enderby Catholic Women’s League and Enderby TOPS.

Mary’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by and will be forever fondly and deeply missed by Raymond her husband of 60 years, their children: Carol-Anne, Michael (Valli), Raymond (Carol), Mary Georgina (Don), Ronald, Kelly (Christine) Joyce (Peter), and Gregory, her 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her sister Irene (Kilmer) Hagen, brothers, Donald (Audrey) McDonald and Bruce McDonald, Sister-in-law Louise McDonald and Brother-in-Law John Pasemko: her wonderful life-long friends: Muriel Oviatt, Ollie Gilowski, Joy Biluk and cousin Shirley Fraser, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mary was pre-deceased by her father, George Simon McDonald and mother, Georgina (nee Read) McDonald, brother George McDonald as well as six sisters- in-law and three brothers- in-law.

Prayers for Mary will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. and Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Monday August 28th at 11:30 a.m. Both services will be held in St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Enderby, BC with Father Tony Ackerman officiating.

Dear Ray and family, Mary will always remain that sparkle in a diamond, that ray of sunshine defying a cloudy sky, that song that hugs your heart and the hand that reaches out to lift you when the world seems to be falling apart.
Love to all of you, Teddy.
