August 12, 1913 - March 3, 2015
After 101.5 years of a wonderful life Carmela passed away to join her beloved husband Paolo. Pre-deceased by her son-in-law Giacomo Anfuso in 2003. Survived by her daughters Rosa, Silvia (Roberto), and son John (Angela), grandchildren Maria (Tony), James (Railene), Cristina (Adrian), Tina (Joe), Paolo (Kristine), Gianpaolo (Jeina), and Stefano (Nicole). Carmela was very fortunate to also have 14 great-grandchildren whom she enjoyed immensely.
Carmela was blessed to have her daughter Rosa be a constant in her life. Rosa devoted herself to visit her mother and bring homemade food every day at Cottonwoods, for just over two years. Special thanks to Dr. White, her family physician and the nurses and staff on B and C wards at Cottonwoods.
Prayers will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 7:30 pm with a Mass to follow on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 10:30 am both at Immaculate Conception Church, 839 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna, BC.
