PALMER, Julie Jean

Julie passed away peacefully at home on January 16, 2018 in Kelowna at the age of 66. Julie is survived by her loving husband Bill Davies, sons Daniel and Richard Davies, brother George Harold Palmer (Olga), cousin William Donald Wilkinson (Dorothy), and remembered by many of her Mackenzie and Bruce Families. she was predeceased by her father, Harold Bruce Palmer 1913-1971 and mother Loas Jean Palmer 1918 - 1997.

Julie most enjoyed her home and gardens, her cooking and baking were second to none. Her fondest times outside of home life were spent with the Central Okanagan Search and Rescue.

Cremation arrangements entrusted to Everden Rust Funeral Services, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, #4 - 1551 Sutherland Avenue Kelowna, BC V1Y9M9

    My thoughts and prayers are with you. I'm blessed to have met and worked with Julie. I loved her smile and her carrot cake. Whenever I make it or have it, I think of Julie, it makes me smile.

    Julie was a kind and generous person. I have wonderful memories of shared Christmas's especially her fantastic tortiere and our shared times with Search and Rescue. My thoughts and prayers to her family !

    Dear Bill, Daniel & Richard:
    Please know you have all been in my thoughts and prayers. Julie was kind and generous, with a great sense of humor and a big heart. I am very grateful that we were able to work together and share many laughs.
    It makes me sad knowing I won't see her again, but I know she lives on through you and she will always be in our hearts.
