NEVILLE, Doreen

NEVILLE, Doreen - Died suddenly August 27th at the age of 81 in Fairbanks Alaska while on vacation.

She was the dearly loved mother of Peter and Tony Neville, both living in Kelowna, and was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Alan Henry Neville in May 2002. She will be missed.

Doreen was born in Stockport, England July 31st, 1927 and met her future husband, Alan, during World War II while she was working at Woolworth

The news of Doreen's passing is a "great sadness". Our memories of Doreen and Alan are cherished memories....Alan for his love of Robert's Rules and his intense discussions and Doreen for her gift of painted plates and laughter.

It is with deep sorrow that we, the Kelowna AEBC Chapter, say goodbye to a long time member. Dorene will truly be missed. We pass on our condolences to the family.

I was saddened to hear about Doreen's sudden passing. I have not seen her for a few years, but will always remember how gracious she was and how both her and Allen really enjoyed the company of both older and young people. Her interest in our lives was so genuine.
