Obituaries

Went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the age of 71. Survived by his loving family: Mercedes, his loving partner of 17 years, 2 sons Jimmy of Sooke, BC and Alexander of Kelowna BC; 3 grandchildren Stephanie, Tia and Tony; stepson Richard (Chelsea) and their son Peyton of Kelowna; brother Jimmy (Pixie) of New Westminster, BC; and numerous nephews, nieces and his extended family. Sadly predeceased by his parents Albert and Rosie, and his dog Raider.

Neil resided in the Okanagan for many years. He loved all sports and was a semi-pro golfer. He was happy-go-lucky, always cheerful and a wonderful father dedicated to his family. He was dearly loved and will be in our hearts forever.
Time of visitation will be 12:00 noon at Springfield Funeral Home on Friday October 3, 2014, followed by a Graveside Service at Westbank Cemetery at 1:00pm with Father Wayne Pfliger officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society 202-1835 Gordon Dr, Kelowna, BC V1W 3H5.
