NEALE, Joe - Passed away tragically on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the age of 22.

Survived by his mom Jane Neale of Kelowna, dad Rick Neale (Carolyn) of Brighton, ON, brother Steve Neale (Chelan) of Kelowna, Joe’s girlfriend Beata of Kelowna, grandma Lois Carbonneau. Sadly predeceased by Uncle Doug Carbonneau. Survived by Aunt Shirley and cousin Kevin, Uncle Bob & Aunt Theresa Carbonneau, cousins Fran, Nicki & Eme, Uncle Bill & Aunt Cec Carbonneau, cousins Marissa & Andrew, Aunt Jill & Uncle Len Verhelst, cousins Mike, Allison & Jennifer, Aunt Liseanne & Uncle Rick Doiron, cousin Matt, Uncle David Neale (Charlene), cousins Angie & Amie, Uncle Peter, Aunt Sue, cousins Kyle, Devon & Eileen, Aunt Trish Martin (Bob), cousins Jessie, Heather & Josh, Uncle Ralph Neale & Aunt Diana, cousins Ryan, Brook, Katie & Faith and countless friends.

Joe was a best friend to anyone in need. His sense of humour and infectious smile only hinted at his huge heart. He was a fiercely loyal man who would forgive instantly. Joe loved working outside every day with his best friends; his passion for hockey and the Maple Leafs was unwavering as was his love for everyone and everything around him. Joe’s love of life will be his legacy in all of us and he will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. “Be Kind.”

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at 10:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road with a viewing prior to the service at 9:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kelowna SPCA, 3785 Casorso Road, Kelowna, BC V1W 4M7.
