McKAY, Margaret Elizabeth (nee Johnson) - Born February 10, 1920 in Trochu, AB passed away peacefully September 5, 2008 in Kelowna, BC.

It is with deep sadness the family of Margaret McKay announces her passing. She is lovingly remembered by her children Douglas (Kathy) McKay of Pickering, ON and daughter Jacqueline (Henry) Chmilar of Kelowna, BC; grandchildren Jeffrey and Suzanne (Doug); Laurie, Robert, Kelly and Karry; great-grandchildren Austin, Owen and Jacquie (Jacqueline and Henry). Margaret is predeceased by her loving husband Donald of 55 years and brother Douglas Johnson of Victoria, BC. She will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family would like to express their thanks to the very caring and compassionate Staff at Cottonwoods (Douglas Fir).

Memorial Service will be held at the Dorchester Chapel at 6:30 P.M. Monday, September 29, 2008.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of their choice.

Interment at a later date in the Gardens of Boal Chapel, North Vancouver.
