McCULLEY, Kathleen Fay (Scoffin)

McCULLEY, Kathleen Fay (Scoffin) - Born on December 16, 1924 on a farm near Kelliher, Sask. The fourth child of Dave and Dora Johnson. Passed away in Kelowna, September 13, 2008 after a losing battle with cancer.

The family moved to Porcupine Plain, Sask. in 1929 and Kathleen grew up there. In 1944 she joined the Army and served with the CWAC for sometime in Saskatchewan, later moving to Saskatoon and then to Kelowna where she has resided since 1962.

Kathleen was predeceased by her parents, two brothers Glenn and Leigh. Surviving Kathleen are her husband of 45 years Jim McCulley; one sister Gladys Steer of Winnipeg and two brothers Alfred Johnson of Kelowna and Arther (Doris) Johnson of Regina; many cousins, nephews, nieces, other family and friends. Kathleen will also be missed by her favorite niece Darlene (Bob) Bond of Kelowna and dear friends Gordon Tyson, Bruce and Grace Pallister of Kelowna.

The family wish to extend our special thanks to the Doctors and staff of the Emergency Room at KGH; Fourth floor East KGH and Fourth floor Royal Building KGH and Douglas Fir of Cottonwoods for the compassion and care for Kathleen and family, this is deeply appreciated.
