It was with great sadness that I learned of Yvonne's passing! My condolences to Marylynn, David, Geoff, Dean and family. Many memories came flooding back to me today of the many wonderful times I spent in the Murray residence as a teen! I was always welcomed warmly by Yvonne and was made to feel like I was one of the family. The greatest gift Yvonne gave me was her humour and quick wit! Much of it, I carry with me today in my Yvonne expressions and one liners . ... I will never forget you Yvonne ... You will be missed! Sending love and prayers to the Murray family¸

My condolences to to the Murray family! From what I can recall, her children were to be thankful for her parenting as I had taught at least 3/4. They were, a reflection of their Mom, quality offspring with a positive, respective perspective on life! Recall Dean-O as a comedic kid that always took life in a +, athletic interpretation. Mary-Lynne & Geoff were much more reserved and humourous in their delivery!Awesome basketball player!

Again, your Mom, imho, was a pretty special person!

I was so sorry to hear of Yvonne's passing. She was such a neat lady. We had many good chats and lots of laughs at Cottonwoods. I'll miss her. May she rest in piece.

Cottonwoods and this world are so profoundly less enjoyable since Yvonne passed away too soon and too suddenly. I will miss her terribly as I know Peter, her friend at Cottonwoods, will too. They shared not only the same home but the same uncanny sense of humor. Bless your loving soul Yvonne, love you! Your friend Lydia.

My deepest sympathy to family. I worked for Percy Tinker for a number of years and Yvonne was definitely one of our favorite clients. I enjoyed the many conversations we had together over the years. She will certainly be missed.

    Sincerely, Carrie Weeks

Dean, Geoff and family, such a great loss of a beautiful lady. All the times I would see her, she had a smile and laugh that came with a hug. She will be truly missed. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am so sorry to hear about Yvonne. Although we had not seen each other for a number of years, I remember her witty personality when we curled together at the Kelowna Curling Club. She was quite the joker and her accent and humor were a blessing.

    Sincerely, Linda Comeau(McCrady)
