MONTGOMERY, Sybil Mary

Passed away on January 8, 2018 in Kelowna, BC with her loving family by her side at the age of 90. Sybil was born on January 21, 1927 in Salsbury, Rhodesia. She is survived by son Robert Montgomery; grandchildren Lindsay (Brian Hall) Montgomery, Keith (Erin Bonner) Montgomery and Kristie (Joey Frost) Montgomery; and sister Joan Howey (Frank).
Thank you so much to the staff at the Dorchester for the excellent care and compassion that Sybil received during her time there. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna. All are invited to come celebrate Sybil

Sybil was a wonderful volunteer at KGH Strathcona desk. I met her while volunteering on Wednesdays. Such a helpful and cheerful lady. She will be missed.

We will miss Sybil so much as she always gave us something to laugh about as well as being a very industrious knitter in our craft group. She was one of a kind and will be remembered for her many kindnesses.

I also enjoyed many visits with Sybil at the Dorchester and a couple times at fish and chips. She was a very special lady and is going to be missed tons. Always happy, a smile on her face, always glad I got to know you my friend. Faye and George Hamer.

I enjoyed many visits with Sybil while she resided at The Dorchester. She was always so cheerful and we had many good laughs together. I will miss her feisty spirit and good natured attitude.
