MILLER, A. Les - Passed away at Kelowna General Hospital on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the age of 91.

Survived by his loving wife Phyl of 64 years, his sons Keith (Donna) of Salmon Arm, Ron of Vancouver, grandchildren Les Miller (fiancée Sarah) and Rebecca Miller and numerous nieces and nephews.

Les and two of his brothers enlisted in the Canadian Army in 1939 and served in the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders for six years in Europe. Following the war he moved from Manitoba to British Columbia where he met and married the love of his life, Phyl. He was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. Interment at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kelowna General Hospital Foundation, 2268 Pandosy Street, Kelowna, BC V1Y 1T2.
