MILLER, Donald Raymond

Miller, Donald Raymond - With feelings of great loss, but greater peace we announce the passing of Don. Don passed away the evening of Dec. 7th at the age of 62.

He is predeceased by his father Rudy and mother Albertine of Kelowna and survived by his son Michael Braet of Kelowna, sister Sherri Miller of Kelowna, brothers Marvin and Vernon of Riondel, BC and Norman of 108 Mile House, BC. He was born in Winnepeg, Man. lived in Arborg, Man. and moved with his family to Red Deer, AB in 1958 and then followed his folks to Kelowna in 1971.

Don was a valued supervisor in the RV manufacturing industry, working for Travellaire, Vanguard and Security. Don loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter who had spent the greater part of 45 years in the bush hunting with family and friends, hounds and the horses. He was a father, brother, uncle, son, friend, partner, hunter, nature lover, farmer, craftsman and rebel. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

An open celebration of Don's life was held at the Ramada Hotel at 2170 Harvey Ave. on Sun, Dec 13th.
