MCPHERSON, Roy William Thomas (Bill)

Bill completed a full circle of life.

He began his journey on October 28th, 1931 and ended it on the same day 80 years later.

Bill married Margaret, the love of his life in 1953. Over the next 58 years together they raised three children; Bob of China, Cory of Kelowna, and Kathy (Chris) of Washington.

Papa Bill also shared many years of joy with his two grandchildren, Janell of Kelowna and Taylor (Chantelle) of Kelowna. Bill was predeceased by his mother, father, and two sisters. He has one remaining brother Alan (Corrinne) of Ontario.

Bill was a helpful and caring man; he left his mark on many people within the community.

His infamous reply to ‘How are you?’ was always, ‘I’m nice, thank you!’ Always a positive outlook on life.

Proof of that was the number of friends Bill gathered throughout his 80 years, ranging in ages from 5 to 95.

Goodbye to a most wonderful husband, dad, and papa.

You will be missed Bill, and good luck on your nine holes of golf with your friends up above.

No service by request. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Central Okanagan Hospice House.

• We always enjoyed our visits with Uncle Bill! He always made you feel welcome and had a wonderful sense of humour....you couldn't help but smile every time you saw him.
