    Melba and Family,

I was heartbroken to learn of Henry's death. What a wonderful person he was, so funny, so honest, so much the embodiment of a true Marine! (However, although his language was very colorful, it wasn't nearly as blue as that of most Marines) In my mind's eye I picture Henry coming into heaven, spotting Phil, who had come to meet him, and asking if Phil had gotten a tee time at Celestial Point, and if not, "How about a game of Crib?"

Maili Cove will not be the same without him, and we have all lost a great deal with his passing. I can only imagine the deep hole which has been left in your lives. But thank God for memories, because we have a lot of memories of Henry, and it will be wonderful to turn them over and over in our minds, remembering Henry, laughing at things he said or did. He brought us all a lot of joy, and I cannot think of even one negative thing about him. That is pretty amazing -- he was an extraordinary person and we are all blessed to have known and loved him!

I send my love and condolences to all of you. Melba, thank you for sharing Henry with us. I wish I could give you a big hug right now. I hope to see you this winter at Maili Cove.

    With love and affection,

    Judy Weigand

    Melba and Family,

Henry was our neighbour and friend and most importantly became a part of our family. He always had a smile on his face for everyone and his humor and wit shone through. He was a "get er done" guy and was always there to lend a hand. We will miss our talks, laughs and times that we shared with Henry, but he will forever remain in our hearts and thoughts. Henry....now your playing that golf course in the sky! Our sincere condolences to Melba and all the family.

Rest in Peace our dear friend!

Melba and family, Henry will be missed by all that were fortunate enough to meet him. A truly fine man with a great sense of humour...he taught us all a new language "who's your daddy" and a number of other classic Henry saying's come to mind. I was lucky enough to golf with him on a number of occasions over the years and was blessed to recently do a round with him and you giving him pointers from the golf cart.

    God bless you all,

    Randy Minns.

    Melba,

I was so sorry to hear of Henry's passing.

His sense of humour and many sayings in his southern accent will be missed at the golf course. I will honour Henry by saying "Run Forrest Run" at least once a round after a good tee shot.

Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
