MCCARROLL, Donald Ray

MCCARROLL, Donald Ray

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Ray McCarroll on March 27, 2017 in West Kelowna, BC at the age of 92.

Don was born in Taber, AB and went to school in Rocky Mountain House, AB. He married the love of his life, Mary, in 1950 in Lacombe, AB. They spent 30 years in Alberta, mostly in Calgary where he drove a bus for a living. In 1980, they moved to Kelowna then to Westbank in 1984.

In his younger years, Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and water skiing. After moving to BC, they continued to fish and camp and also took up golf, which both of them enjoyed. Don was an avid gardener, known for his wonderful tomatoes.
