MCAVOY, Kenneth James

In loving memory of Kenneth James McAvoy who was born in Merritt on March 2, 1937 and he grew up in Hope, British Columbia.
Ken passed away in Kelowna on May 16, 2017 at the age of 80.
He will be sorely missed as a husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife Betty; children Ken (Sylvia), Kelly, Kevin (Cathy), Keith, and Bob; sibling Pat (Steve), Gary (Sharon), Allan (Mary), and Grant; and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents, James and Anne; his first wife Pat; sister June and her husband Bill; infant children Wayne, Karen and Kim.
A Special Thank You to Kelowna General Hospital staff on 6 west and daughter-in-law Sandy for all the love and support.
A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 2:00pm at First Memorial Funeral Services with a reception to follow.
