1919 - 2012

Bert Mayan passed away peacefully on May 1, 2012 in Kelowna, BC at the age of 92. Bert will be lovingly remembered by Lulu; his wife of 65 years, their children: Greg (Linda) Mayan of Sherwood Park, AB, Charlotte Spearman of Surrey, BC, Linda (Doug) Noonan of Penticton, BC, Sharon (Marvin) Dudas of West Kelowna, BC, Gilbert (Trish) Mayan of Rosemary, AB, 17 grandchildren and their spouses, 21 great grandchildren,1 great-great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bert was predeceased by his father and mother, and all his siblings.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday May 11, 2012 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Road Kelowna with Rev. Jonathan Asmus officiating.

Viewing will be made available 1 hour prior to service; Bert will be laid to rest at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
