MATERI, Peter Anton - Was born Sept. 30, 1913 in Prelate, Sask. and passed away peacefully with family at his side at Hospice House, Kelowna, BC March 1, 2010.

He was predeceased by his wife Josephine in 1979. He is survived by sons: Basil (Gloria), Melvin (Mary), Peter (Gloria) Wally (Kory) and daughters Marjorie, Yvonne (Bruce), Milly (Fred) and Cheryl. Grandchildren: Marie, Brian, Kathy, Irene, Joy, Lynn, Wayne, Lorna, Fay, Jennifer, Sue, David, Colleen, Stephan, Tim, Larissa, Paulla, Chandra, Cheryl, Peter, Robert, Steven, Natasha, Brandon, Jeffery, Colette and Miranda. Great Grandchildren: Darin, Jeremey, Rheta, Elizabeth, Kimberley, Tyler, Matthew, Scott, Kyle, Corbin, Aaron, Roxanne, Kiel, Haley, Holly, Troy, Russell, Taylor, Brady, Riley, Mandy, Samson, Christopher, Michael, Julia, Teresa, Josie, Ryder, Nathan, Marissa, Cassandra, Stephanie, Danielle, Tessa, Erik, Easton, Mason, Chase, Hailey, Madison, Hannah, Curtis, Tavis, Karalee, Braydon, Gavin, Kahurimu, Owen, Cajun, Brixton, Peter, Richard, Velvet, Alanah, Josephine, Jovarn, William, Christy Lee, Shavanah, Mahalia, Jordy, Shannah Lee, Adrian, Christopher, and Bronson. Great-Great Grandchildren: Destiny, Daesharn, Daemiza, Dante, Cassidy, Kyle, Christian, Janae, Jayden and Kaya-Shay. He is also survived by his loving sisters Theresia, Katie, Clara and Cecilia as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Franklin, Leonard, Louis and Steve, son-in-laws Jack and Ken, grandchild Carl and great grandchild Stevie Rae.

Peter loved to travel and of the many places that he went around the world his favorite was always the prairies. He planned most of his travels around family occasions and he has albums of photo
