Obituaries

Randy Mason died in Kelowna, BC on February 17, 2021 at the age of 64 years. He was born in Alberta and moved to BC when he was a teenager. He lived in Sicamous, BC prior to moving to Kelowna about 35 years ago.

He was a kind person who helped others and could fix almost anything. He lived a simple life and made do with what he had.

He will make one more trip across the Rockies to be interred in Alberta with family at a future date.

Thank you to his neighbours and friends for kindness and friendship over the years. Special thanks to those who enabled us to deal with his affairs with swiftness and dignity from a distance. Arrangements are entrusted to Springfield Funeral Home, Kelowna.

  My sincere condolences to Randy's family, he will be missed. YES. he was indeed a gentle soul. I first met him at Capri Centre whilst working at a Financial Institution that Randy and his wife belong to. Randy was always the first to notify us of a missing screw in a hinge, or that our coffee pot was low, or maybe the seat on our toilet was wonky. Randy was extremely helpful to all he encountered and eager to help in anyway possible. I remember a few years ago that he went toe to toe with a fellow who was miss treating a gal on the street. Randy displayed great courage.
