MARKEL, Brandon Joseph James
It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved son Brandon Joseph James Markel on March 4 2017 in Salmon Arm, BC. Brandon was born in Vernon, BC. To Marv and Jeanne Markel on December 31, 1983 where he lived most of his life.
Brandon enjoyed many things in life but his first and foremost enjoyment was his son and best friend Cooper. Even though Brandon had many obstacles and hurdles to jump in his life he was an amazing son, brother and especially an amazing father to Coopy, He made sure that God was a part of Coopy's life and that they said their prayers together before bedtime. Brandon made many, many friends in his short lifetime and cherished each and every one. Brandon’s dream in life was to become an actor, He made minor appearances in a couple of commercials and was working towards this goal. He tried his hand at a number of jobs but if they didn't involve the opportunity to work with a group of people and to be able to socialize while working, he wouldn't be around too long. He was always up for a good conspiracy conversation. We wish we could have more time with Brandon, but we are also thankful for the short time we did get to spend with him. We will think of you every day and love you always.
Brandon is survived by his Son Cooper, Brother Brodie, mother and Step Father Jeanne and Miles Kilback, father Marv Markel, Gramma Bea Markel, Gramma Marlene Robertson, numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and many, many friends. He is predeceased by Grampa Joseph Markel and Grampa James Robertson.
