MARINCICH, Antonio Giuseppe

It is with great sadness that the family of Antonio Giuseppe Marincich announces his passing on Wednesday, January 31 at the age of 84.
Antonio will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years Antonia and his children Daniella (Richard) Serani and Roberto (Kerry) Marincich.
He will also be fondly remembered by his 6 grandchildren: Anthony (Christine), Leanne (Tyler), Michael (Alexandra), Emma, Daniel and Stefanie; his great granddaughter Emilia; surviving sisters Scolastica, Maria, Eufemia and brother Giuseppe.
Antonio was born on March 15, 1933 in Cittanova, Italy to Antonio and Caterina Marincich as part of a large family of 16 children.
Antonio and Antonia married December 1956 and emigrated to Halifax, Canada in 1957 and later to Cawston, BC, where they made a new life together raising their 2 children and eventually fulfilling their dream of owning their own orchard in the Similkameen Valley.
Antonio and his wife retired in 1992 to Kelowna and spent their golden years enjoying spending time with family, travelling, playing bocce, gardening, fishing and making wine.
Prayers will be recited on Tuesday, February 6th at 7:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 7th at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 839 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna, BC, with interment to follow at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Antonio
