Chris was my best friend. We grew up together in Marathon, Ontario. We spent almost every day together until we went off to university. I can't believe a world without Chris. I am devastated. Chris was a remarkable man. My condolences go to Bill, Mary-Lou (Chris' mom), and Richard (his brother) and his family. Pierre Lebel and Pauline, Alexander and Aaron Lebel.

Bill and family, we are so sorry to hear of this awful tragedy. We manned the phones with Chris during many radiothons for KGH, and it was always fun to be in his company for those hours.

I had the privilege of knowing Chris through the Ponderosa guild. He was an extremely kind and patient man and anyone around him benefitted from his talents and desire to teach and explain. The world is definitely not so bright without him.
