MACIVER, Margaret May

Unexpectedly, and far too soon for her family that loved her, Marg passed away on June 24, 2017, at the Kelowna General Hospital, at the age of 84. We take solace in knowing that she is finally reunited with her husband of almost 58 years, Edmund "Red" MacIver, who passed away in 2013, as well as her parents, Lemuel and Elizabeth Sherk, and her brother, Joe Sherk.

Marg will be forever missed by her children, Deb (Rodger) Stead, Will (Cheryl) MacIver, Dan (Alicia) MacIver, Wendy (Joe) Ruggeri, Tammy MacIver (Stew Gillespie) Much loved Grandma of Erin & Adam Stead, the late Luke MacIver, Jacob, Jesse, Daniel & Rysam MacIver, Will Liston, Jamie & Tyler Ruggeri. Proud Great-grandma of Finley & Emerson Stead, Mom was looking forward to the arrival of her newest great-granddaughter, Alison Ruggeri, in September. Marg will be deeply missed by her younger sister Marie (the late Bruce) Masson, as well as her nieces, nephews and friends.

A private family burial will take place at Valleyview Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, Surrey, B.C. In lieu of flowers, for those wishing to make a charitable donation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada, or Threads of Life, would be appreciated by the family.
