MACDONALD, Herriot (Rusty)

June 12, 1932 - June 11, 2017

Rusty was born to Clara and Angus MacDonald in Trail BC. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan (1996) and by his siblings John, Ellen and Anne. He is survived by his three daughters, Carolyn, Sandi (Craig), Shannon (Gerhart) and grandchildren, Nicole (Tim), Cassandra, Caitlin, Kevan and Jayson; great granddaughter Grace and a second great granddaughter to be born in July.

I am so sorry to hear of Rusty passing. I met him when he befriended my Mom Trudy at Okanagan Chateau .. he was so kind to her and made her last year there much easier. He was a great character and I enjoyed the many lunches we had together immensely when he told me about his army career and I teased him about not eating vegetables! I'm sorry I didn't get to see him after he moved but I will always carry the memory of him in my heart. My sympathy to all of you I know you will miss him.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Rusty. We always enjoyed hearing Rusty's funny stories when we visited. He will be missed. Our condolences to the family from our family.
