LOCKE, Violet

Vi Locke passed peacefully on Saturday, July 20, 2019.

Vi will be lovingly remembered by her sister Ruby (Henry) and by her children Pat (Joe) and Wayne (Sandra); 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. Vi was predeceased by her husband Walter and 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

The family would like to express its gratitude to her friend Carol and to the Driftwood staff at Cottonwoods for their loving care & support.

In keeping with Vi?s wishes there will be no funeral. In lieu of flowers a contribution to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

So sorry to hear of Vi"s passing, i met Vi and Walter through curling, we both lived in Lakeview Heights and would car pool to Mountain Shadows to curl. we golfed at Kelowna Springs for many years. from time to time back in the old days we got ourselves in trouble nothing too serious, Vi was always game for anything.

She was 1 of my first friends when we came over from Scotland in 1974.

She was a great lady.

We had neighbours in Leader Sask. when I was a child and their names were Walter and Vi Locke. I'm also remembering Pat and Wayne as the children's names. They were fun neighbours and we missed them when they moved away. Condolences to family.

Hello to Vi's family. My condolences for your loss. Vi was a lovely lady. I knew her through bridge at the curling club and golfing. There are some people in this world that are very special. Vi was one of those. She was always sweet and welcoming to me.
