LEWIS, William Gene

LEWIS, William Gene

May 24th, 1957 - April 17th, 2017

Bill Lewis, late of Kelowna, BC passed away suddenly while visiting family in Tyvan, Sk. Bill is loved and missed by his son Jason and grandson Boden, Kelowna; mother Margaret McDonald, Tyvan; 2 brothers: Pat Lewis (Colleen), Tyvan; his children Charlie and Nicole; Dan Ceniccola (Beth), Panama City Florida; children Michael and Storm (Beant) numerous other relatives and friends.

Although he worked in various locations, Bill spent most of his life in Kelowna. Always fun and upbeat, he will be remembered for his quick wit and great sense of humour. No matter how dark the night, Bill shone like the brightest star; and will shine in our hearts forever.

    My BillyGene,

You still cross my mind and the memories don’t make me cry with sadness that you are gone but often I smile thinking of how you would shake your head and chuckle, I still hear you laughing at me over the silly things. I come across the letters and notes you would would write and send me with all your thoughts and goals when we were together and my love I cherish them always.

    I still miss you.

    Love,

    Meshell

My condolences to Bill's family. I had recently thought a lot of Bill and wanted to connect with him. He was with my brother Freddy and friend Peter when they both drowned in 1970. The older you get the more you think of what he must have gone through. But I too remember his distinctive laugh. So sorry to hear of his passing.

    To Bill's family,

I have such fond memories of Bill and his great smile! He was often at our home in Rutland with my brothers. I saw Bill recently and his laugh had not changed. May your tears always fall upon wonderful memories of a good man.

    Dear "Lewis Family",

I am shocked to hear of Bill's passing!! After going to school together we had re-connected over the last 10 years in Kelowna between his work projects and shared some dinners and drinks, and some fun stories and laughs of our Rutland Secondary school years. I will miss his fun & positive full of life persona!!

To the Lewis family. My sincere condolences on this very sad news. Bill and I were schoolmates in High School. He was always upbeat and cheerful. I bumped into Bill a few years ago after not seeing him for many years. Although I did not recognize him, I did recognize his distinct voice and laugh and I said "are you Bill Lewis"?. We enjoyed a good visit. My thoughts are with you, his family, at this difficult time.
