LEPINE, Maxine Ruth

We wish to announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother December 23rd 2010 In Vernon BC.

Maxine was born in Saskatoon Saskatchewan July 1944, to Frank and Helen THURLOW, and lived there until moving to Kelowna in 1970 . Moving from Kelowna to Chilliwack in 1999 and staying there until moving to Vernon in September 2010.

Maxine is survived by her loving husband John, and three children Teresa (Tara), Cory (Taylor, Rhys, Jordan) and Darcy (Jennifer, Robyn, Lauren and Eden) as well as her four brothers Ken, Stu, Ron and Greg. Maxine was pre-deceased by her Father Frank, Mother Helen and sister Laurane.

Maxine was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and her passing will leave a void that cannot be filled.

A Memorial Internment ceremony will be held June 4th 2011 at the Kelowna Memorial Garden Cemetery at 1:00 PM, with a reception to follow at the Kelowna Elks Lodge located at #205 2040 Springfield road at 2:30 PM.

Maxine (Mom) had a huge place in her heart for all children and would have given anything for all children to be safe healthy and happy. It is in that spirit that we request that in leui of flowers, donations be made in Mom's name to the BC Children's Hospital.

• I remember Mrs Lepine from my childhood, spent playing with Cory and Darcy on Vista Road in Kelowna. I have fond memories of both her and Mr Lepine. I am sorry to hear of her passing.
