I had the pleasure of teaching Kien as a member of the ESL department at KSS in the early 80's. Kien impressed her teachers with her kindness, compassion, and intelligence. Kien was devoted to her family. She was very appreciative of the opportunities available in her new country. I am sad to hear of her passing. She was a wonderful young woman. My condolences to her family.
