KYLE, Robert Boyd

KYLE, Robert Boyd

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert Boyd Kyle on January 10, 2019.
Robert Boyd Kyle, also affectionately known as Scotty and Bobbie to many, passed away suddenly at the age of 80.
Robert grew up in Scotland where he served in the army and met the love of his life, Nita. They were married in Galashiels, Scotland and soon brought their daughter Jacqueline into the world.
Together they came to Canada in the 70’s where he mastered many trades.
To Robert nothing was more important than his family and he was a great provider to them. Two of his favourite things to do with his family was to go gold panning and camping.
He was also known for his sense of humour and was quite the prankster.
The family would like to extend a special Thank You to everyone for their care and support through the years.
They also ask that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Spinal Cord Injury of B.C. Foundation.

    Nita and Family,
Sorry to hear about Bob passing. I am away and just found out the sad news.
I remember him years back with you coming over and spending time at my parents' place and also how funny he was. He always made me laugh and what a hard worker he was too. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this upsetting time. Thinking of you.

Nita, I was so saddened to hear about Bob's passing. Through the twenty plus years of knowing Bob and all of our ups and downs we always remained friends. Bob could always put a smile on my face. He was quite a character and a lot of fun to be around. I'm so happy that I got the chance to spent time with him before the Christmas break when he asked me to come over and look at his chair because it wasn't working. I believe that this happened so that I could see him one more time. It was a gift from above. I will cherish that forever.

My heart is broken at the mere thought of never hearing "Hug time Toni!" Those words will forever be stuck in my head and heart. An amazing man who led me to meet an amazing woman....Nita. I am going to miss our chats and visits (even if they were mostly work related!) My most sincere condolences Nita and Jacqueline. If there is anything I can do at all please call. I can be a shoulder, an ear or just someone to be there to help with anything.
    With much love,
    Toni
