Mike was the best of the best! He was old school, spoke his mind and was a kind man who loved to put on a rough exterior, but he loved family and friends! It was tough to see him step down from a profession that he was the best! Loved him and his laughter! Don't make them like Mike anymore! What a fine man!

Our condolences Darrell and Tracy. Just found out (on the East coast). I was one of Mike's 1st customers on Groves Ave and we quickly became good friends for life. He was an unselfish man with a big heart.

    I'll miss you Mike.

Your buds always, Al Fisher & Francine

Darrell and Tracy, I am so sorry for your loss. I thought of Micheal as my other father. We shared some special times throughout our lives and for that I am grateful. I was blessed to have known him. Rest in peace with all our other special loved ones and thank you Tracy and Darrell for allowing me to share his final days.

So sorry to hear of Michael's passing. I was a longtime customer of his dating back to his shop downtown where I bought him a coffee machine and he continued to cut my hair for low those many years. Because of my buying him that machine he insisted to only charge me half price for probably 25 plus years. He also got into motorcycling after a ride on my bike and he enjoyed many years on the road after that.

    Rest in peace MIKE.

    Tracy and Darell,

I first meet Mike when he opened on Bertram St. I worked for Big and Tall Shop in the same building. We tried to solve the problems of the world talking at the back doors of our business. He was a (good guy) never afraid to share his opinion on anything.

I have been a customer of Michael since he was on Groves Av., and that was a longtime ago. I continued up till about 1 year ago when he said he just could not continue. Over the years, we shared many a story from his prairie days to most recent his health. Even when the sizzors started swinging as they quite often did i still have a full head of my own hair.

RIP Micheal, you have earned it..
