KOEPKE, Wayne - Born on November 13, 1941 in Lethbridge, Alberta and passed away on Monday, June 6, 2011 at the age of 69.

Survived by his loving wife Frances; daughter Beverly (Will); son Darrell; four grandchildren: Kyle, Ryan, Courtney, Cassidy; brother Lloyd (Wilda) and sister Elaine (Jim). Predeceased by Harold and Mabel Koepke.

Wayne will be remembered for his smile and laughter, which could be heard a mile away. He loved to spend time at Mabel Lake fishing, golfing and spending time with friends. Wayne had a very rewarding career in woodworking, while being employed with Stober Construction for 23 years. He loved to spend time with his family and will be dearly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 11th at 1:00 pm at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Central Okanagan Hospice Association – Hospice House, 2035 Ethel Street, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 2Z6 or the Cancer Centre for the Southern Interior, 399 Royal Avenue, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 5L3.
