KILBORN, Richard Paul - Was born on January 23rd, 1934 in Redfield, Saskatchewan and passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home in Vernon, B.C. on September 17th, 2011 at the age of 77 years.

Richard will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Frank Kilborn of Winfield, B.C., his sister, Karen Hawkey of Kelowna, B.C., his nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Richard was predeceased in death by his parents, Paul and Myrtle Kilborn.

Richard was an active member of the community with the Navy League Of Canada, the Navy League Cadets, the Royal Canadian Legion, the Elks Club, B.C. Minor Hockey and Vernon Minor Baseball.

A Celebration of Richard’s Life will be held at Trinity United Church on Monday, September 26th, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. with the Reverend Robert Thompson officiating.

As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to do so may send donations in memory of Richard to the Canadian Cancer Society #104-3402 27th Avenue, Vernon, B.C. V1T 1S1.
