KANTYMIR, Alexander (Alex)
March 21, 1928 - November 23, 2010

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Alexander "Alex" Kantymir on November 23, 2010 at Pleasant Valley Manor in Armstrong BC at 82 years of age. Alex will be lovingly remembered by his wife Ellen of Armstrong; his brothers Mike of Vernon, Nick of Saskatchewan, and Pete of Powell River; his sisters Anna Welygan of SK, and Sophie Stanowich of SK. Alex was predeceased by his brothers Bill and John; and his sisters Mary, Lena, Agnes, and Nellie.

Alex was born in Gronlid, SK on March 21, 1928. Alex was innovative in creating items to help his disability. He was a very friendly man, loved by all, who will be missed dearly.

Those who wish to do so may make a memorial donation in Alex's name to Pleasant Valley Manor (3800 Patten Drive, Armstrong BC V0E 1B2).

A Celebration of Life will be held at Vernon Full Gospel Church (5871 Okanagan Landing Road) on Saturday April 16, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. All are welcome.
