KABATOFF, Lydia

Lydia Kabatoff, age 68, passed away on her own terms peacefully, in her own home and without pain, shortly after 5 PM, 12th of June 2017. She was surrounded by her immediate family, Anne (her mother), Troy and Chad (her sons), Jan and his daughter Nicole.

Lydia was born on November 9, 1949 in Nelson, BC and graduated from KSS in 1969.

Lydia put up a brave fight and finally lost the battle with the metastatic colon cancer.

Her final few days were full of joy and laughter that was shared with her sons and mother.

Lydia Jean Kabatoff is survived by her mother Anne Pereverzoff, her two sons, Troy and Chad Kabatoff, and three grandchildren, Kohl (13), Karina (10) and Violette (3).

In keeping with Lydia's wishes, her Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Manteo Beach Resort in Kelowna from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (www.manteo.com).

    To the Kabatoff Family and Jan,

    We are so sincerely sorry of the loss of this wonderful lady. Lydia was such a bright light with such energy and love. We so cherish her kindness and friendliness always to our mother and neighbour, Anna and to us, Ralph, Andrea and myself, Carla.

    We cannot express enough how much we valued her friendship, sincerity and fun. She will be dearly missed.
