JONES, Gerry Alexander - Passed away suddenly at Kelowna General Hospital on November 8th, 2011 at the age of 40 years.

Gerry is survived by his loving wife of 9 years, Michelle; parents Margaret and Edward of Peachland, B.C.; sister Patricia (Michael) and their two children, Carson and Tay of Vancouver, B.C.

Gerry was born in North Vancouver on June 20th, 1971 and grew up in Kelowna, B.C. After graduating from George Elliot Secondary school in 1989, Gerry moved to North Vancouver to work as a transport driver for H&R Transport. Gerry met Michelle in the summer of 2000 and they married July 2nd, 2002. Gerry is well known for his love of hockey, whether playing, coaching or supporting his nieces and nephews. Gerry was a kind and gentle soul, full of many laughs, a smile that could brighten a room and always there for his family and friends. After many years of illness, Gerry is finally at peace. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all his family and many friends, from afar and here close to home.

In respect for Gerry’s wishes, there will be no service. Family and friends will gather together at a later date to celebrate and remember Gerry’s life.
