VICTORIA MARIE JOHNSTON, beloved wife and best friend to Norman Johnston, husband, passed away peacefully in my arms, on May 31, 2020, at Central Okanagan Hospice House, in Kelowna.

Predeceased by her father, John Tytula, and mother Nellie, and brother Arthur Tytula.

She is survived by sister Betty Oscvirk, "Dave," of St. Catherines, Ontario, and sister Marjorie Rockburn, "Robert," of Airdrie, Alberta. She was loved by nieces Jacqueline Buis, "Kevin" of Niagara on the Lakes, Karen Craig of Fonthill, Ontario, Dawn Parliament "Paul" of Niagara Falls, Ontario, and Stacey Badiou, "Pat," of Australia. Also, nephews, Terry Larson, "Tracy," of Black Diamond, Alberta, and Darren Guse, Diana, of Seminole, Florida, and brother-in-law, Douglas Johnston, of Burlington, Ontario, and three sons, Lance, Ilicia, and Lindsay, also from Dallas area, and Jeffrey, Elaine of Scarborough, Ontario. Kaelin, and Aden Buis of Niagara on the Lakes, Ontario. There are several grand nieces and grand nephews, and their children.

Vicie had three passions in life, her home, shopping, and traveling. She especially liked ocean cruises and river cruises.

She will be missed by all, especially her husband of 61+ years.

  So sad to hear of Vicky's passing this year. She was a beautiful woman and friend from our days in Yorkton Sask. back in the 50's. Sincere condolences to her sisters and family.

  Norm, we are so deeply sorry for your loss. Vicky was such a sweet, fun lady, and always so kind to our kids and grandkids. She will be missed by many.
