Muriel, Shayne, Rhonda, Matt and family.

Ron, among others, was instrumental in my decision to enter the car business. He'd offered advice and criticism when needed. I've always had respect for his business acumen and dedication to his family.

May your sorrow be overcome with the great memories Ron's left you.

    He will be missed.

Muriel and family. Only a few days ago I mentioned to Sheila I wonder how the Jacobsens are doing. What a shock when a friend in Kelowna called to tell me of his passing. I have such fond memories of the four of us travelling together especially our trip to Florida and then the cruise. No doubt he has hooked up with Terry (who left us far too young) and they are trying to catch up with lost time. I wish I could be at the service but my thoughts will certainly be with you and your family. Lorraine McAfee

So sorry to hear of "Jake" passing. He was a very fair man to work for. So much so that I came back four times to work for him. He never forgave me for persuading him to sell his Corvette though.

We are so sad to hear of Ron's passing. He was a Kelowna icon in the car industry. What a successful business man! So many good stories of times at Big White, travelling around the world, and enjoying "down south". We will be thinking of you with lots of love.

Very sorry to the family, like many long time residents I did business with and also purchased a number of vehicles from the dealership. Great funny memory was in 1991, I came in looking for a small car for my oldest daughter who was off to UVIC. Jake was in the showroom, and we chatted. He said don't send her away in a used car, so he sold us a new little Pontiac of some sort. When it was ready for pick up, and I came in, he said, that is too plain, come back tomorrow. He sent it someplace to have a few decals and fancy stuff put on it. He said don't worry about it, get you next time. I returned twice more.

    Respectfully,

    Ken Warren
