We’re missing you a little more
Each time we hear your name,
We’ve cried so many tears
Our hearts are broken, so much pain
We miss our times together
Things in common we could share,
But nothing fills the emptiness
Now you’re no longer there.
We’ve so many precious memories
That will have to last our whole life through
Each one of them reminders
Of how much we’re missing you, Steve
Your voice, your smile, your laughter,
…..everything.
Nothing is the same without you.

To lose someone we loved so much is hard and it seems unbelievable that we’ve lived a whole year without you. We know we have much to be grateful for but sometimes the pain of losing you outweighs our gratitude. We also know you’re watching.....Susi in her new job, Terry fishing from the StevieB, Stacey excited about her new home, Kalon the rock star, Olivia making her way on her own and Seth playing hard on the rink and the football field. And the bean bag tournament, a beautiful day, in memory of you. We hope you’re proud of us and how we are coping despite our heartache and sadness.

We hold you and our memories close in our hearts always and love you, love you, love you

My Mom has lost a husband and two children, I have lost a father a brother and a sister. Whenever someone asks my Mom how she can handle the sorrow she simply replies “I know where they are". It does get easier but honestly they are not far from my thoughts. Sending you love.
