IN LOVING MEMORY: MOIR, Brian Michael

Born May 29, 1940 Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Died December 19, 2016 Kelowna, British Columbia.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Michael Moir.
Brian passed away peacefully on Monday December 19th in Kelowna with his wife Patricia by his side.

Brian is survived by his wife Patricia, sons Stuart, Michael and Gordon McGarva of Kelowna, step mother Bernice Moir of Sechelt, sisters Sharon Roberts (Michael) of Victoria, Susan Brayton of Langley, step brother Bill Rawlings (Carmene) of Sechelt and granddaughters Hannah of Kelowna and Beth of West Kelowna. Brian also is survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Brian was predeceased by father Dr. James Hector Moir in 2006 and his mother Sally Moir (Laidlaw) in 1963.

Brian served with the British Columbia Regiment from 1961 to 1963, following which he graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor's of Commerce and then a Master's in Business Administration. During his career as a Financial Planner Brian continued his education and received the following accreditation: Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter and a Chartered Financial Consultant.
