HOCH, Charlotte Elisabeth (nee Laskowski) - Passed away on July 23, 2011 at Kelowna General Hospital at the age of 91.

Charlotte was predeceased by her parents, first husband Otto Marschall (1979) and second husband Johan Hoch (2003), and step-daughter Helga Fehlauer. She is survived by one sister Anna in Germany, eight step children: Harald (Lisa) Marschall, Ingeborg Pemoeller, Gottfried (Marie) Marschall, Adolf (Sylvia) Marschall, Oskar (Adelheid) Marschall, Hanna (Joe) Klein, Gerhard (Irmgard) Marschall, Klaus (Karla) Marschall, 26 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Charlotte loved carpet bowling, knitting and crocheting. The grandchildren have all benefited from her labor of love; her memory will live on through those treasured gifts.

The family wishes to acknowledge the nursing staff at Sutherland Hills Rest Home and thank them for their exceptional care given to Charlotte.

A Funeral service will be held on Thursday July 28, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Christ Lutheran Church, 2091 Gordon Drive with Pastor Patricia Giannelia officiating. Interment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church “Roof Fund”, or the KGH Foundation 2268 Pandosy Street Kelowna, BC V1Y 1T2.
