HINTZE, Ellen Aina passed away December 16, 2014 at the age of 92 years.
She was born March 19, 1922 in Dunkirk, Saskatchewan. As a young woman Ellen met and married Howard Charbonneau who was in the Army and they lived in Ontario, Whitehorse and Wainwright. Ellen then lived in Calgary and married Walter Hintze before moving to Kelowna November 1969.
In Calgary she owned a variety store and a restaurant before holding numerous other positions leading up to her retirement.
Ellen was pre-deceased by her husbands, Howard and Walter and sister Hilia Wood. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Don) Brown, granddaughter, Christine Thompson (Graham Kalbfleisch), great grandchildren Hayley and Ryan Kalbfleisch, all of Calgary, sister Lillie Randa of Kelowna, nephews Randall and Brian Wood of Moose Jaw, nieces Norma Sunderbruch of Vancouver, Brenda Randa of Sointula, BC and children Corinne and Jamee, Corinne
