HILL, Herbert Douglas

Passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Park Place Senior Centre in Kelowna, BC. Herb was born on August 4, 1928 in Outlook, SK. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Alma, to whom he was married to for 60 years, as well as his five sons Tom (Eilleen) of Kelowna, Terry (Penny) of Kelowna, Tim (Chris) of Kelowna, Todd (Valerie) of Nakusp and Trevor (Karen) of Vernon, two sisters Mabel Rogers and Doris Ferry, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. His brothers Jim, Don and sister Mary sadly predeceased Herb.

Herb and Alma were married in Meadow Lake, SK in 1948 and moved to Kelowna, BC in 1971, where they raised their five sons. Herb enjoyed spending time with his family camping, watching his sons in their sports activities and always had a passion for watching the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Park Place Senior Centre for the care they provided to Herb in his final days.
