HILL, Helen Jane

With a very broken heart I announce I lost the best mother in the whole world suddenly on July 2nd, 2009.

Helen was born July 8th, 1924 in Wycliffe, BC. She is survived by her very loving daughter Beryl Tremblay, sisters, Given, Ruth (Fritz), brother Tom (Anne), many nieces and nephews and also daughter Helen, grandsons Bryan and Michael. She was predeceased by the love of her life Jack, her daughter Norma Hill, and son-in-law Dennis Tremblay.

My mom grew up in Kimberley then moved to Cranbrook, Powell River, Oakland California, Burnaby and finally Kelowna. Most of her working life was at Sears where she worked till she was 75. Helen was an amazing lady and will be sadly missed by many. Mom I truly hope you are back with the love of your life.

A Celebration of Life service will be on Friday, July 10th, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Road, Kelowna, BC with Rev. Gordon Fletcher officiating. Helen will be laid to rest at Ocean View Burial Park in Burnaby, BC.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation for the Southern Interior, 399 Royal Avenue Kelowna, BC V1Y 5L3.
