HEPNER, Milton Clifford

HEPNER, Milton Clifford

April 3, 1928 - February 1, 2018

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad, Brother, Uncle, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa, Milt (Milton) Hepner on 1st February 2018, in Kelowna BC. He was surrounded by his large and loving family.

Milt was born April 3, 1928 in Waldheim Saskatchewan. Predeceased by his loving wife, Violet, in 2016 and brother Don. He is survived by his brother Cec (Karen) Hepner and sister Shirley Moore. Children, Brian, (Jeannie) Hepner, Glenn (Aniko) Hepner, Rita, (Dave) Cook, Wayne, (Marzena) Hepner Ray (Dana) Werger, Randy (Carol) Werger, Chris (Keith) Garvin, Kathy York, Lawrence Werger and Pam, (Michael) Maneval; Many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his furry, faithful companion, Daisy, who was always by his side.

Milt spent many years working as a heavy duty mechanic. He was a jack of all trades and master of them all. There wasn’t anything that he couldn’t fix or figure out. He was very active in his church and quite enjoyed his carpet bowling. His favorite times were spent with family and friends.

There will be a celebration of life on Monday, February 5, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at the Westbank Lions Community Centre. 2466 Main St.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Our condolences to Milts family. We moved here four years ago and met Milt. He was a easy fellow to talk and joke around with. He always had a hello for anyone who came to coffee. He will be missed.

Milt was a very special man with so much love to spread around. It has been a priviledge to know him and his wife Violet for many years. He was a delightful happy man and gave the greatest hugs. He enjoyed sharing church with all of us at Son Valley Fellowship and played an active part. All of my family will dearly miss Milt and cherish our precious memories of him. Until we see you again Dear friend... Lots of Love, Beth Gilbert and family

Known Milt for years but also he and Vi were my clients. He would come in grab a coffee and I would say if I knew you were coming in I would have baked you a cake. Next time I will he would say. Loved this kind man. Such a nice man and he will be sadly missed. He made an impact to all that knew him with his kindness, friendly manner.

Always had a great time talking with Milt, he was never scared to take apart anything and he could always get it BETTER THAN NEW. Milt worked with us up at Gormans and was a fantastic man, we lost another one in a million guy.
RIP Milt. Tim Kendal and all the guy's from the shop.
