HENDRICKSON, Evon Delberta - A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend went to be with her Lord and Saviour on August 16th, 2011 at the North Okanagan Hospice House in Vernon BC at the age of 65 years. Evon was born on March 10th, 1946 to Albert and Della Brooks in Saskatoon SK.

Evon will be lovingly remembered by her husband Don of 43 years, son Dale, and daughters Angela (Perry), Gaylene, and Rosalie (Mark). She will also be missed by her grandchildren Lorna, Jordan, Cassidy, Brooklynne and Bliss as well as her siblings Bev (Mona), Betty, Val (Art), Dawn (Ron), and Dale (Marie). Evon was predeceased by her brother-in-law Roy.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 20th, 2011 at the Enderby Evangelical Chapel, 708 Mill Avenue, Enderby BC, www.enderbychapel.com. Interment will take place prior to the Service at Cliffview Cemetery, Enderby BC.

• I share in your sadness upon the passing of Evon. It was my absolute privilege to have joined others in providing care for such a sweet lady and getting to know those of you who visited her. I will never forget the day when a lady and her two daughters stopped by to sing to Evon, such beautiful hymns of promise for her future. I shed some tears then, but am thankful that one day I shall also see her again! May God bless all of you with comfort at this difficult time. My heart goes out to all.
