I used to love spending time with Mrs. Heffernan whenever I would visit my grandparents. She was always welcoming when I would tap on her door and ask to come in. I was so excited when I would see her brown mercedes in the carport since that meant she was home and maybe available for a visit! Very fond memories of a wonderful woman. I am sorry to hear of her passing but I must say wow, what a life well lived, to an amazing age of 102!

To Eric and family,
So sad to see your mom has passed, but also happy to have known her for many years. She was always such a happy and welcoming lady. She did live a very full life and touched many people along the way. I am so glad she made her lake swim on her 100th birthday, that really was her passion. Heaven truly has received an angel.
Rest in peace "LOU".
