Obituaries

Passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday, April 10, 2017 at the age of 62. She is survived by her husband Alvin of 41 years; daughters Johanna (Tom) Vien and Jacqueline; sons Paul (Heather) and Christopher; 4 grandchildren: Kevin, Leah, Matthew and Nathan; sister Angela (Bob) Espie; nephew Michael (Lorie); as well as numerous extended family. She is predeceased by her parents. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 20th at 10:30 am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 750 Rutland Road N., Kelowna, BC.   So very sorry to hear of Chris's passing. We worked together for many years at PGRH. She was a very caring wife, mother and friend. She was hard working, caring and knowledgeable nurse. She will be missed by many. With love and kind care, Maryellen Skinner

  I had the honour of working with Christine at KGH and UBCO. She LOVED being a Registered Nurse and was especially passionate about Maternity. She was extremely supportive and encouraging of students and her colleagues. I am so saddened by your loss - my thoughts are with you.
