Condolence Messages
  • Mar 05, 2016
We have just found out that Ken passed away, and wish to add our condolences. I knew Ken at Carey Hall and West Point Grey Baptist while we were both at UBC in the mid-60s, and found him to be one of the all-time good guys. He was fun to be around, but he was solid too - someone you could trust and be glad to have in your corner. I'm grateful to have known him.

    Doreen,

Our hearts go out to you and yours at this time. What good memories we have of you and Ken in the College & Career Fellowship days at West Point Grey. Across the years we have heard glowing reports from friends who benefited from Ken's financial expertise, and who greatly appreciated both his wisdom and integrity. We were impressed by the memorial service bulletin, by the choice of music, and by the strong emphasis upon our hope in the risen Christ. May His amazing grace continue to be your portion.

    Doreen,

I am very sad to hear of Ken's passing but hope you'll hold fast to the knowledge that it was an end to pain.

I remember seeing Ken's picture in the North Shore news when we lived in West Van. and that reminded me of 'those days we were young. It was wonderful having the reunions.

We are saddened by this news. Ken was a vibrant member of the Grad Class of '63. We hope the family knows that many of us remember him fondly.

    Doreen,

Ken will be greatly missed and he will always be remembered by his old school friends in Kelowna. I'm so glad "The Class of 63" got to meet you at our reunions, and it was great to see the two of you so happy together. Deepest condolences to you and all your family. Ken was really one of the good guys and I'm grateful to have known him.

    Very sincerely,

    Kay Davies
