Born in Treherne, MB on June 8, 1920, passed away peacefully at Sun Pointe Village, Kelowna on Saturday, July 12, 2014. Doris was predeceased by husband Morris in 2003 and daughter Pat McLean in 1998, brothers Albert and Lawrence Smith, sisters Mary Ferguson and Gladys Buchanan. She leaves to mourn her loss, daughter Sharon (Norm) Tribe of Kelowna, son-in-law Barry McLean of Nelson; grandchildren: Tom (Yanni) Tribe of Kelowna, Christina (Phil) Ibis of Vancouver, Andrew (Candida) Tribe of Kelowna, Jennifer McLean (Carl Olsen) of Trail, Cameron (Brianne) McLean of Vernon; great-grandchildren: Brandon, Ariana, Skylar, Aaron, Jacob, Jamie and Payton. Also mourning her loss are sister Ina Parker of St. Claude, MB, sister-in-law Peggy Smith of Port Coquitlam. No funeral by request.
